The First Paragraph Of My College Admissions Essay

“What you see right now is what is, and nothing more. There is no past, and most definitely no future. You cannot even begin to feel the experiences of someone across town. In fact, there is no across town, because you are not there to see it. All there is to you is seeing, feeling, hearing, tasting… now. Right now. All that is memory is obsolete, no longer important. Quite frankly, I’m not entirely sure how we even remember things seeing as life is literally the equivalent to a line. You can break it up into as many sections as you want because there will always be a smaller increment of time which we can classify. Math, science, lines and such are strange in the sense that there are no real answers, no actual evidence or proof that something is.  All we know cannot be proven; we just have a good guess. You can argue that our “discoveries” are time tested. But just wait until the day you throw a baseball and it falls towards the sun.”

I don’t know how I even got in with this.
